Polson High School students in association with Flathead Community College are building a home in Polson. Under close instruction they are learning the skills necessary to build a house from the ground up.  The students learn by setting forms, pouring the footings and foundation, framing, roofing, siding, insulating, hanging and taping drywall, installing windows, doors and trim, installing cabinets pouring the sidewalk and driveway, and landscaping - all trades in high demand in the fast-growing Flathead Valley. Meanwhile, they qualify for both college and high school graduation credits by taking the course.
